Christmas Island at Gottorf Castle
The former fairy-tale Christmas market at Glücksburg Castle moves to Gottorf Castle in Schleswig as the "Weihnachtsinsel" from 2026. Dates are yet to be announced.
Glücksburg Castle in winter
Open Saturdays and Sundays 11 am–5 pm from November to March. Closed from 21 Dec 2026 to 3 Jan 2027.
Advent at Villa Boreal
After the market, head back to the fjord: fireplace, barrel sauna on the beach and a jetty leading into the cold water. The main house and beach house sleep up to 8 guests.
