Breakfast on the balcony
Fresh pastries, coffee, fjord in the morning light. The balcony faces east — the sun rises directly over the water.
Private bathing jetty
10 metres into the water, your own ladder. At seven in the morning you're the only people swimming for miles.
Fireplace in the beach house
The separate beach house with its own fireplace sits right by the water. Stormy nights, a blanket, wine — and the crackle as the only soundtrack.
1,060 m² garden
The plot is large enough that no neighbour sees what you wear in the pool. Or don't wear. Hedges, trees, a clearing with loungers.

Sixteen hours in the quiet

First in the water
You're the first in the water. The jetty lies in morning mist, no one on the beach, just gulls and the deep creak of the planks. Back to the house: espresso, croissant, fjord through the panorama window.
13:00
Pool & a book
Midday, the pool. Blanket on the sun terrace, the book you've been meaning to start for months. No one asks anything. The phone is in the beach house. The sun moves over the Danish coast opposite.
19:30
Sunset at the jetty
7:30pm, glass of crémant, steps to the jetty. The fjord turns gold, then pink, then deep blue. Across the water, the first lights come on in Sønderhav. You say nothing.
22:00
Sauna, fire, silence
10pm. Sauna, then a jump in the pool, then the fireplace in the beach house. Wine, blanket, storm outside. The bed is three metres away, the door doesn't need locking — there's no one else here.
SPECIAL OCCASIONS
When the occasion is something more
Honeymoon, milestone birthday, anniversary. Tell us in advance — we'll prepare the villa accordingly. Nothing kitsch, all understated, just the details you don't want to organise yourself.

Champagne chilled in the bedroom, flowers from the Glücksburg farm shop, breakfast served on the balcony — on request.
Milestone birthday
Private chef in the house for a 4-course menu. We'll connect you, you arrange the menu directly.
Anniversary
Candle-dinner setup on the terrace, jetty picnic at sunset, ice bucket by the pool. Just say what you need.
💡 We don't organise events — but we know the people who do it well. Chefs, florists, massage therapists, a sommelier. Just ask.

Three seasons, one minimum stay
Villa Boreal is rented year-round. High season runs June to August, off-season November to March — often the most beautiful time, especially for couples.
