That is exactly the premise of the “Filmstadt Glücksburg” tour: actor Mathias Harrebye-Brandt — known across Germany from the ZDF series “Mordsschwestern” and “Dr. Nice”, and a former schoolboy in Flensburg — leads the way to original locations, explains the sets and shares anecdotes straight from the shoot. The meeting point is the seaside promenade in Sandwig in front of Pier 54; the tour takes an afternoon and ends with a small farewell bite by the fjord. Groups are deliberately small, so registration in advance is required. Tickets are available at the tourist information office; dates and prices vary by season, and private group tours can be arranged. ## The town walk The classic town tour explains how a ducal seat became a Baltic seaside resort: castle, church, spa house, the villas of resort architecture and the stories in between.
